A father helps the DEA take on drug cartels in order to reduce his son's prison sentence. Don't be fooled by the trailers, this isn't an action movie. This is a drama and surprisingly a good one. Speaking of surprises, Dwayne Johnson shatters any stereotypes of wrestlers turned actors & gives a performance I didn't think he was capable of. Jon Berthnal of Walking Dead fame is perfectly cast as an exconvict trying to keep his family safe. Every other actor in this really does a great job playing their roles. The story is well written & well directed making Snitch a pleasant surprise. This is easily Dwayne's best film & the first great film of 2013.
