LA Movie Review- Scott Pilgrim vs The World
The plot revolves around 22 year old Scott Pilgrim, who meets the girl of his dreams. Unfortunately for him, the only way they can remain together is if Scott defeats her 7 evil exes. This is one of my favorite movies and deserves to be reviewed. Edgar Wright directs this instant classic & creates a perfect blend of action, comedy, romance, & music. This is a perfectly directed film with no weak links to be found in story or cast. The action scenes are a feast for the eyes, as they contain spectacular special effects to accompany the film's hard-hitting style. The writing is very witty & entertaining throughout, with the exception of a few lines. The music is well done & genuinely memorable. This film is perfectly cast, but Michael Cera stands above with his character development & performance. SP vs. the world can be described as a comic book come to life, or even a video game come to life, but it is most accurately described as a one of a kind, cinematic experience.
