LA Movie Review- Epic

A Bugs Life meets Honey I Shrunk The Kid in this new animated movie. A girl moves in with her father & gets shrunk to deal with rat-toad things who want to destroy the forest for the sake of destroying the forest. It provides a message to get children to give nature the respect it deserves. The problem this movie has is that it's not very funny & its story never really sucks you in. The animation is well done and the voice acting is fine. Little nitpicking on my behalf but the characters could literally fall from any height & survive. I know it's a cartoon but it bugged me. It's fine for kids but it never truly lives up to it's title of being "Epic".
