Terrorists invading the white house + Gerald Butler with a gun = Best Die Hard movie this year. This a very entertaining popcorn flick with very strong action throughout. On the acting side, Gerald Butler is entertaining & should stick to action, where he thrives. Aaron Eckart goes from Gotham district attorney to US president & is underused in his role. Morgan Freeman plays Morgan Freeman in this, but since he's Morgan Freeman it's still entertaining because he's Morgan Freeman. While this movie is cheesy at times, it still delivers what it promises, a violent good time.
