Earth has been attacked by aliens, we defeat them but by doing so left the planet in ruins. Tom Cruise stars as a repair man who starts asking questions about possible survivors of the attack. Sounds interesting but this movie is pretty bland and incredibly boring. The visual aspect of the movie was the best as it was shot by the same cinematographer from Life Of Pi. Story wise, this movie is like a really cool car that you want to watch go from point A to point B, but so much crap is hitting the car on it's way to point B that you don't really care when it gets to point B. The movie also rips off many plot points of Duncan Jones's "Moon". On the acting side Tom Cruise plays Tom Cruise & Melissa Leo is incredibly underused. The movie fails to be anything other than lackluster
